Wonderful casting of a naked maiden with flowing peacock feather styled hair. Signed by the foundry 'J. Mouffart' in the bronze to rear and artists signature 'J. Zomers' to front.
Joseph Zomers 1895-1928, born and died in Liege. He worked in that city as a decorative sculptor and the local museum has several of his minor works. Mounted on a mahogany panel with 3 hooks. Ideal as a coat rack or a key holder. Condition is good. Approx. size 18 inches (45cm) x 10 inches (26cm)
Brass tea caddy with detailed panels. Good tight fitting lid. Condition is very good. Approx. height 6 inches (15cm)
Large brass planter with Islamic style decoration. Some digs and dents to finish, but still a great looking pot. Approx. size 7 inches (18cm) high x 10 inches (26cm) wide.
Art & Crafts wrought iron candelabra with a hanging heart motif design to centre. Most probably retailed through Liberty of London. Goberg makers mark to base. Condition is good and rustic. Approx. height 12 inches (30cm)
Silver plated box with a wonderful art nouveau maidens head to the lid, it retains its original cedar wood lining and stands on 4 feet. Carl Deffner marking to base. Condition is good, minor loss to plating and minor marks and ripples to finish. Please email me for more photos. Wonderful card holder with the image of a nouveau maiden to front and inscription to rear 'C.L.C to J.B.S 1919'. Solid silver. Hallmarked Birmingham 1900. Makers mark is unclear. Condition is very good only minor signs of use. Approx. size 8cm x 4cm
Unusual leather embossed photos frame with an image of a French aristocrat to top of frame. Replacement easel stand to rear, working very well and very much in keeping. Minor scuffs to edges and rear. Approx. size 6.5 inches (16cm) x 4.5 inches (11cm)
Large wooden picture frame with good quality carved and stained foliage detailing. Ring to back for wall hanging. Engraved to rear 'Lumi 80. Wiegenfeste - Familie Drobil'. Condition is very good. Approx. size 16 inches (41cm) x 9 inches (23cm)
