Another typically French nouveau bust, entitled 'L'Esprit de Marrons', she stands 21 inches (53cm) tall and she has all the usual Goldscheider markings on the back, numbered and signed on her left shoulder. The name appears to be 'Cherc', but I can't be absolutely sure. A wonderful figure of a beautiful woman adorned with chestnut sprigs.

A large terracotta Bohemian lady warrior measuring 25.5 inches (64cm) tall with a 7.5 inch (19cm) diameter base. This piece is marked Goldscheider to the under/inside and probably dates from about 1900. Unsigned but I believe by the artist 'E. Tell' Exhibited for Arthur Goldscheider in Rue Paradis. The condition is excellent with only slight minor ageing to the patina as one would expect.
