French Art Nouveau Maiden c.1910
A wonderful bronzed spelter maiden mounted on a black marble socle. She appears to be listening to the sea having shells and foliage at her feet. I believe the artist to be either Causse or Flora. Condition is very good, some nibbles present to marble base. Approx. height 17 inches (43cm).

'L'esprit de Marrons' by Cherc
Lifesize, good quality hand finished plaster maiden with horse chestnuts adorning her hair and robes, finished in autumnal colours. This design was also used at the time by Goldscheider where Cherc was an 'in house' artist. I have a smaller version in terracotta by Goldscheider also signed Cherc. It can be viewed in the Goldscheider book. She is signed on her shoulder and to rear there is an impressed 'P within a D' makers mark. Condition is very good. Approx. height 26 inches (66cm).

'Diane' by Villanis c.1890
Wonderful spelter bust of 'Diane' with a good bronzed finish. Signed Villanis to shoulder. Can be viewed in the Schiffer reference book, volume 4 on page 977. Condition is very good, some rubbing to her nose. Approx. height 15.5 inches (39.5cm).

Large maiden holding a shell, numbered to base, maker unknown possibly Ernst Wahliss. Condition is very good. 3 very minor imperfections. Approx. height 18.5 inches (47cm)

Water Lily Bust by Causse
Large spelter bust entitled 'Nenuphar'. This bust is unsigned but unmistakably a Causse. All his maidens have a very recognizable innocent with similar beautiful faces. Please view my sculptors & artists section for more details on this artist, I also have other pieces by Causse. Condition is good. Approx. size 15 inches (38cm)

Wonderful spelter bust of a Persian Queen, 'Scheherazade' with a bronzed finish. Signed to her right shoulder 'E. Villanis'. Please see my sculptors & artists section for more info on Emmanuele Villanis. Condition is very good. Approx. height 9.5 inches (24.5cm).

Art Nouveau - Art Deco Spelter Figure
Good quality spelter figure in a semi-naked pose standing in front of a circular mirror. Oval alabaster base. A lovely original figure and very reasonably priced. Condition is very good, minor nibbles to alabaster base. Approx. height 10.5 inches (27cm)
