This is a wonderful alabaster nouveau maiden dressed in mediterranean style costume holding 2 urns. The artist has given her a delightful innocent face. Surprisingly there is no signature. Condition is good, minor age related chips to base. Approx. height 20 inches (51cm).

An Italian maiden dressed in detailed costume with a lovely face. Signed to rear 'Prof. Romany, Firenze, Italy'. Good quality carving and detailing. Condition is good, minor chips to base as one would expect. Approx. size 9.5 inches (24cm)

Another Italian maiden also dressed in detailed costume with a lovely face. Also signed 'Prof. Romany, Firenze, Italy'. Very similar to previous bust. Condition is good, minor chips to base. Approx. size 10 inches (25cm). Will sell the pair together at £1000.

This is a lovely little figure entitled 'CIGALE' of a young maiden with a mandolin in bronzed spelter. Condition is good, some wear to original highlighted finish. Approx. height 6.5 inches (16.5cm)

Entitled 'L'oracle' by W. Hering, she is standing on the edge of a pool amongst flowers, reeds and water lilies elegantly holding a flower. Made of spelter with wood pedestal base with plaque to front. Condition is good, small tip missing to reed top. Approx. height 23.5 inches (60cm)

Figural gilt finished plaster bust of 'Lucrece' signed to shoulder 'Villanis'. Condition is good, some minor wear to original finish. Approx. height 8 inches (20cm)

Large spelter figure of Andromeda (Greek mythological figure who was chained to a rock to be sacrificed to a sea monster). She has her arms outstretched. Naked except for a cloak draped around her body. She stands on a good stepped marble base. Signed to base, but difficult to read, possibly 'Arhangne' . Condition is good, minor nibbles to base and some ware to high points of finish. Approx. height 17.5 inches (44cm)

Small spelter figure of a maiden holding a bowl. Please email me for more photos. Condition is good. Approx. height 6 inches (15cm)

Spelter 'bronzed' maiden collecting grapes with the help of a cherub. 'Les Verdanges' to plaque on base, par L. Moreau (Louis Auguste Moreau 1855-1919). Approx, height 26 inches (66cm) to tip of frosted torchere shade. Condition is good with its original shade which has a small chip to tip. This lamp is one of a pair.
