A lovely and pretty lady dancing with her shawl and of alabaster, mounted on a grey marble pedestal. Apparently unsigned - she measures 13.5 inches high and is in very good condition, but with signs of a break and restoration to her outstretched arm.
This lovely French bird measures 13 inches high (33cm) to the top of his plume, and is beautifully carved out of a single piece of alabaster with green glass eyes. Signed by the artist Katz. I also have another piece by this artist, again another bird - this time an eagle and bigger. Email me for pics.
A wonderful, classical Grecian alabaster lady water carrier. She measures 24 inches tall and is mounted on a 5 inch square white marble base which bears the signature. Condition is very good.
Lovely spelter dog lounging on a nice marble base. He has a wonderful face, don't know the breed! Condition is good except some minor damage to edge of marble base. Measures approx. width 16 inches (40cm), depth 7 inches (17cm), height 9 inches (23cm).
Beautiful spelter Nouveau figure of Aurora goddess of dawn, flimsily clad in a draping garment with one breast exposed. Base is of verdegre marble. Signed by the artist 'Villanis' to the metal socle base, circa 1895. Condition is good, some minor ware to the original bronzed patina commensurate with age and use. Approx. height 21.5 inches (54cm)
Lovely good quality art nouveau plaster bust c1905. She has a very pretty face. Artists initials to rear 'F.R.'. Artist unknown. Condition is good, some minor marks to finish. Approx. height 8 inches (21cm), base width 8 inches (21cm)
Stylish art nouveau spelter lady figure with a silvered finish holding an opening box. Possible repair to base. Approx. size 13 inches (33cm)
A beautiful spelter figure of a fairy balancing on a wave by Julien Causse, see my artists and sculptors section for more details. She is entitled 'Chant de la Vague' (song of the wave) and signed to the rear. She stands on a Sienna red marble socle. Please email me for more photos. Condition is good.
