Beautiful large picture of a scantilly clad maiden standing in a watery lagoon with a putti style child sitting on her shoulder, within an oak frame. Norman Hurst and Herbert Draper inscriptions. Some marks and foxing to paper.

Wonderful lithograph print of 2 beautiful scantily clad maidens standing in a watery lagoon mesmerised by a pan type male playing music on a horn. Oak frame surround. Norman Hurst and Herbert Draper signatures. Condition is good but with some marks and foxing to paper.

Lovely nouveau picture and wooden frame, probably German, after an original painting by Anselm Feuerbach 1871. In mythology, Iphigenie was the daughter of Agamemnon. He agreed to sacrifice her to the gods in order to ensure the safe passage of the Greek fleet to Troy. It has copper detailing to top and bottom. There is a design of a bird in flight to top panel and IPHIGENIE on bottom panel. To centre is an old print of a women dressed in robes looking out to sea. Condition is good. Approx. size 47 inches (120cm) heigh x 36.5 inches (93cm) wide.
